All-American Bar & Grille sits inside the Rio Casino on West Flamingo Road, serving up classic American fare in a spacious, casual setting. The restaurant tends to draw a steady mix of locals and visitors who appreciate familiar flavors without the fuss, making it a reliable spot for everything from a hearty breakfast to an unhurried dinner after a day on the Strip.

The dining room, particularly the large back area, offers plenty of seating, bright enough for a relaxed midday meal but cozy enough to settle in for a weekend brunch. The vibe leans towards friendly and approachable, with staff who often go out of their way to accommodate requests, creating an inviting environment for both solo diners and groups.

Breakfast here is a draw, with well-executed basics like scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes that stand out for their balance of crispy exterior and tender inside — a detail that’s easy to appreciate when you’re looking for a comforting start to the day. The menu’s breadth also covers solid bar snacks like chicken wings with various sauces and house-prepared soups such as New England Clam Chowder and French Onion, which add some warmth on chillier Vegas days.

Lunch and dinner lean into American staples: burgers with mushroom Swiss or classic cheese, nachos loaded with seasoned ground beef and fresh chips, and fried mac & cheese bites with flavorful dipping sauces. Plates come at a price point typical for a Vegas casino venue, so it’s a good fit for those who value convenience and familiar flavors over cutting-edge culinary exploration.

This spot works well for groups needing a roomy place to unwind, casual meetups over a brew, or visitors staying at the Rio who want a straightforward meal without leaving the property. Service can be a little uneven during busy times—expect some delays getting drinks or orders at peak hours—but generally, there’s a steady rhythm once you’re seated.

Overall, All-American Bar & Grille delivers on solid, accessible American dining with an easygoing casino-side atmosphere, suited to folks who want classic comfort food in a no-pressure setting.

We stayed at the Rio hotel Las Vegas, and ate twice at the All-American bar and Grille. The food is delicious! The first night I got the hummus plate and the wedge salad, which was spectacular. The next afternoon for lunch I got the all American breakfast. Best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside and delicious scrambled eggs. Not an easy feat. The staff and servers were welcoming and attentive. The decor is absolutely beautiful with stone columns on the wall and blue wave lights on the ceiling. I highly recommend you eat there when visiting the Rio hotel in Las Vegas!

100% best place to sit, enjoy a meal or a brew. We've enjoyed a delicious breakfast here and had a great bucket of peel em shrimp that was great. They have a huge dining area in the back. Very friendly staff and it's always a "yes" whatever you need. A great eatery at Rio!! Thank you.

We visited this establishment on Tuesday 7 November for dinner due to a $60 comp. We were seated right away. It took awhile to get our beverage order. After that everything flowed. I ordered the patty melt and my wife got the mushroom Swiss burger both were $20.99 each. The order didn’t take long and the food was hot especially the fries which had a nice crispy texture which I usually judge while eating first. Our server kept checking on us. On the way out we saw a back seating area which is more appealing if you don’t care for the smoke which I would of preferred. We wished we would of shared as there was plenty of food and it always gives another option to try another place if sharing.

Overall a good restaurant. I ordered the super Nachos and my wife ordered the cheese burger and fries. I must say a bit pricey. The Nachos are really good in my opinion, the ground beef well seasoned you actually get that real nacho cheese sauce. The chips are fresh, the only complaint I had was the beef to tortillas chips was off. By the time I got done eating I had way more chips and no ground beef. As far as taste and flavor this entree checked all the boxes in my book.

Not our first time to eat here. We have been many times throughout the years when we visited Vegas. Never disappointed. This visit for breakfast was very good. Reasonably priced for Vegas. Restaurant is located in the Rio Casino, which we enjoy staying at.

It has been a long time since I ate here , but I got a $50.00 comp , so I decided to give it a shot. I read a few bad reviews , but at the Rio there is not many places to eat and the ones that are still there may have limited hours. I honestly didn't think it was that bad. I got the Ribeye Steak with Real Mashed Potatoes and Vegetable Medley which was Green Beans , Carrots , and Jicama which is a Mexican Turnip. My steak was cooked to my liking , a little smokey taste , and it wasn't seasoned much so I used a little Heinz 57 sauce. When I make my steaks at home I season it well that I don't need to use any kind of steak sauce. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and a good amount. The vegetable medley was okay , green beans not very fresh , but the Jicama was good and seasoned pretty well and the carrots were also. My waiter was Jose and he was friendly enough and the lady that brought me my drink , brought me a refill without asking when I was almost finished so good timing. I was gonna get a draft beer which was on the menu , but Jose said they only have bottles of beer and they need to update the menu. I decided to get an Arnold Palmer then , but he said they had no lemonade. So Pepsi it is ! Not really my choice with a steak , but I didn't want a bottle of beer , I wanted a cold draft beer. With my Comp I only owed $1.06 , so the bill was just over the $50.00 . I noticed a lot of the other things on the menu were way overpriced like cheesesteak sandwich and others for $20.00 . I can't say I would come here again for the prices and the food just being average. My steak was good , but more tasting like a steak and eggs kind of combo at like a Denny's or something. I remember when the Rio was the place to be in the 90's , but it is empty on the casino floor , but I did see a lot of people coming out of the comedy club when it let out. It is of course booked up with rooms for like $25 dollars and there was a long line for check in even at 9 o'clock at night !

Our waiter Jose Luis made the dinning experience complete, he speaks both english and spanish and the service was on the point. The Ribeye and the Fish & chips were enormous and tasty.
